Namaste!

Handmade felt slippers are not just footwear; they’re a blend of comfort, style, and craftsmanship. Here’s what makes them unique:

1. Natural Material: – Handmade felt slippers are often crafted from high-quality wool felt, a natural and sustainable material known for its softness, warmth, and breathability. This ensures comfort for your feet while also being environmentally friendly.

2. Custom Fit: – Many artisans create handmade felt slippers to order, allowing for customization to fit your foot size and shape perfectly. This personalized approach ensures a snug and comfortable fit, unlike mass-produced slippers.

3. Durability: – Felted wool is inherently durable and resilient, making felt slippers long-lasting and suitable for daily wear. The dense fibers of wool felt are resistant to wear and tear, ensuring that your slippers maintain their shape and comfort over time.

4. Artisan Craftsmanship: Each pair of handmade felt slippers is crafted with care and attention to detail by skilled artisans. The handcrafted process results in unique variations and character, making every pair of slippers one-of-a-kind.

5. Warmth and Insulation: – Felted wool provides excellent insulation, keeping your feet warm in colder weather while also allowing breathability to prevent overheating. This makes handmade felt slippers perfect for wearing around the house during chilly evenings or mornings.

6. Stylish Designs: РHandmade felt slippers come in a variety of stylish designs, from classic and simple to whimsical and unique. Artisans often incorporate creative embellishments, such as colorful embroidery or appliqu̩, to add personality and flair to each pair.

Overall, handmade felt slippers offer a combination of comfort, durability, and style that sets them apart from mass-produced footwear. Whether you’re lounging at home or running errands, these unique slippers provide the perfect blend of comfort and craftsmanship for your feet.

We are producing slippers with 19 microns (Merino wool), 28 microns, 32 microns & 34-micron wool. Which micron wool do you prefer, We will produce any items with that micron wool.

Merino sheep were originally developed in Spain and highly prized for their fine wool. The first Merino sheep were introduced to Australia in 1797 deriving from the Royal Merino Flocks of Spain.

These Spanish sheep had already evolved a fine fiber but more selective breeding from farmers in Australia made sheep adapt to the specific conditions of the country. This led to the even finer wool that is prized today. There are four main types of Merino wool that exist in Australia. These include superfine Merino (which is 18-micron fiber diameter or less), fine wool Merino (which is 19-micron fiber diameter), medium wool Merino (which is 20-22 micron fiber diameter), and strong wool Merino (which is 23-25 micron fiber diameter).

Generally, sheep with finer wool do best in cooler areas while sheep with stronger wool do better in low rainfall areas that are hot. Merino wool is constantly developing because of selective breeding and will continue to do so. We are using 19 Micron merino wool.
